  • In Florida, workers’ compensation enhanced protections regarding covid expired for state employees including numerous healthcare staff and first responders.
  • According to a study in Texas from the National Bureau of Economic Research, injured female workers experience better outcomes in workers’ compensation claims with female physicians.
  • In Washington, state legislators pre-filed a bill that would give injured workers the right to record medical examinations.
  • On the National level, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that in 2020 workplace fatalities decreased to their lowest levels since 2013
  • The CDC updated its guidance on covid quarantine procedures.
