What's happening this week in workers' compensation? IWP's weekly legislative wrap-up, State of the States, keeps you up to date on important matters within the workers' compensation and pharmacy arena.

This week's legislative wrap-up contains updates including:

  • In Massachusetts, two COVID presumption workers' compensation bills were referred to study by the Joint Committee on Labor and Workforce Development, effectively leaving them dead in the water.
  • The Texas Department of Insurance announced a routine review of eight chapters of the state's workers' compensation regulations.
  • The Kansas Supreme Court began an appeal to overturn an appellate court decision that prohibited use of the 6th edition of the AMA guidelines to determine permanent impairment.
