What's happening this week in workers' compensation? IWP's weekly legislative wrap-up, State of the States, keeps you up to date on important matters within the workers' compensation and pharmacy arena.

This week's legislative wrap-up contains updates including:

  • A presumption bill that would expand workers' compensation benefits for health care workers with specific mental or emotional impairments related to COVID-19 has bipartisan support in Connecticut.
  • The New York State Senate recently passed a proposal that would allow a broader range of workers who sustain mental injuries due to extraordinary work-related stress to become eligible to file for workers' compensation.
  • Governor Parson signed SB 63 into law last week, making Missouri the last state in the country to establish a PDMP.
