Insurance Claim Verification Supervisor - (Andover, MA)
Full-Time 12:30-9:00pm, Saturday hours may be required
The Insurance Claim Verification Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the insurance verification area, working in collaboration with the inside sales supervisor to lead the team to ensure the department is achieving sales goals and customer satisfaction. Overall responsibilities include performance measurements, monitoring, coaching and training in order to maximize sales revenue in a rapidly growing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor phone calls for coaching, training and quality assurance
- Track and analyze each representative’s activity in order to measure work performance
- Effectively conduct individual and team coaching sessions to develop each representative
- Support team members in problem solving to attain first call resolution and address escalated customer issues in a responsive, timely and accurate manner
- Write effective performance reviews
- Think outside the box and willingly offer suggestions on improving quality, workflow, and current policies and procedures
- Take corrective action as necessary
- Oversees the day to day staffing needs of the department
- Develop partnership with internal & external departments (e.g. sales, customer service, pharmacy, reimbursements) to ensure customer satisfaction
- Creates a team atmosphere and positive work environment
- Ability to work nights and weekends with little or no advance notice
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 -5 years of successful Insurance Supervisory experience
- Must have previous experience in coaching, motivating and training others through constructive feedback.
- Strong leadership and customer service skills required
- Previous experience in a Call Center preferred.
- Experience with all MS Office applications
- Exceptional communication skills; oral, written and interpersonal
- Strong follow through, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and be a team player
- Works well independently with little or no direct supervision
- Must be able to meet deadlines and able to prioritize and balance day-to-day tasks
- Able to handle conflict resolution
- Must be reliable with an excellent attendance recordBilingual (preferably Spanish) is a plus
