Reimbursement Coordinator - (Andover, MA)

General Responsibilities:

The Reimbursement Coordinator position requires a positive, enthusiastic team player, who is willing to go the extra mile to accomplish the goals of this goal-oriented team.  This position is responsible for expediting payment from the assigned group of workers compensation insurance carriers, as well as other departments within the company.

 

Skills and Experience Required:

The ideal candidate for this position would have 2+ years workers compensation knowledge and familiarity with medical diagnosis and terminology.  Candidate must have:

1.      2+ years proficient insurance vendor collections.

2.      Positive, enthusiastic team player with strong verbal and written communication skills

3.      Creative thinker (“thinks outside the box”) that is detail-oriented and works well independently

4.      Maintains a collaborative perspective working with other departments

5.      Persuasive problem solver that is able to switch gears with ease.

6.      Strong computer skills, including experience with databases and Microsoft Office.

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Secure payment on outstanding invoices

2.      Investigate and rectify partial payments

3.      Investigate claim status in influence to litigation

4.      Research and act upon information obtained

5.      Interact and communicate daily with other departments

6.      Analyze information and data for resolution

7.      Obtain medical documentation to facilitate and warrant collections
